Commercial, Industrial, Retail Tenant Improvement, Hospitality

  • Construction of 66,000 sq. ft. retail shopping center, two story. Tempe, Arizona.
  • Owner’s representative for new construction of seven preschools ranging from 5,500-7,200 sq. ft. in size.  Five of these in Arizona, two in California.
  • Renovation of 62,000 sq. ft. industrial paint processing plant, Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Construction of 5,200 sq. ft. radio station, Tempe, Arizona.
  • Tenant Improvement of new space for 52,000 sq. ft. build out of semiconductor facility, Class One clean room, Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Tenant Improvement of two phases for a Technical Institute, Phoenix, Arizona, total of 12,000 sq. ft.
  • Renovation of 45,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona for Airborne Express.
  • Renovation of two story Airborne Express facility in Detroit, Michigan.  Included the renovation of the warehouse, then keeping the facility open while each floor of the office area was renovated separate from the other.
  • Numerous Arizona tenant improvements for office, retail, warehouse, industrial, bank, restaurant (four Tom’s BBQ Restaurants, Thai Restaurant of Scottsdale, The Eggery Restaurants, and several other kitchen remodels through A-Z Restaurant Equipment), and clean room construction.  Projects too numerous to list.
  • Four large industrial build-outs in new industrial/warehouse complexes.  One food processing, two industrial manufacturing with heavy electrical and machine installation, and one micro-processing building with machines from Germany received and installed.  Included the liquid storage tanks for chemicals on site.
  • Mall work to include the San Francisco Chocolate Factories, Casual Corner, TJ Maxx, and other type stores.
  • Steel framing and drywall contractor for new church in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • General Contractor for the new addition of church in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Remodel of the Embassy Suites Hotel at the Biltmore, Phoenix, Arizona.  Five story atrium with new lobby, new Omaha Steak House restaurant, new workout room, bathrooms, meeting rooms, hotel rooms, fountains/ponds, etc.
  • Remodel of the Embassy Suites Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.  
  • Hired as the Senior Project Manager for the $53,000,000.00 renovation of eight school facilities in a suburb of Minneapolis.   Managed all project managers, superintendents, administrative personnel, accounting, etc.  Direct liaison with school district  board, school staff and all consultants.  Primary work completed included Indoor Air Quality, fire sprinkler, and electrical renovation, also included all new walls, flooring, and ceiling finishes, fire alarm/security systems, constructed new activity centers at two locations, kitchens, locker rooms, etc.  Helped resolve pre-referendum initiatives during the construction process, re-construction services and cost analysis, value engineering, organized and administered all public bidding, contract administration, and cost accounting.  Project was completed in a Construction Management (Agency) format contract at cost plus a fee.  
  • The exteriors division of this company specialized in the installation of exteriors with an emphasis on pre-finished fiber-cement board siding.  Completed four large commercial buildings in the Twin City area in 2005 with contracts valued at $2,550,000.00. 
  • 2006/2007: Responsible for the completion of a major addition to a community college; addition to a couple of large public high schools; built the new city hall for Gem  Lake/White Bear Township; completed the addition to an elementary school in St. Cloud; completed the maintenance facility for a large park system in the cities; completed an addition to a local union hall; and several renovations at the Hennepin County Medical Center, etc.

 

New Residential, Residential Remodeling, Multi-Family Housing

  • Residential remodels, room additions, custom home in steel frame construction in Scottsdale, Az above the Mayo Clinic, etc., others too numerous to list.  1989/1998
  • During the last quarter of 2004 and fiscal year 2005 built 63 multi-family  and single family homes.  During the last quarter of 2005 through April of 2006 built 29 additional multi-family and single family homes with a total construction of approximately $15,300,000.  October 2003-May 2004 consulted in a construction management capacity to complete the construction of a 102 unit multi-family project in Rush City, Minnesota, valued at approximately $25,000,000.00.  Completed construction on three new custom homes during 2003 totaling approximately 1.7 million dollars.


Hospital, Medical-Dental, Assisted Living

  • Construction of 22,500 sq. ft. Medical Center, Sun City West, Arizona.  
  • Numerous medical/dental tenant improvements over a period of years in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area from small to medium size in scope and dollar amount.
  • Owners Representative hired to complete the feasibility studies, entitlement work, plans, hiring of general contractor and start of construction for two sixty-bed hospitals attached to a one hundred and twenty bed skilled nursing care facility, to include all associated units in the facility such as emergency rooms, mechanical rooms, restaurant/kitchen, lobby, etc.  One in Mesa, Arizona and one in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Owners Representative hired to complete the feasibility studies, entitlement work, plans, hiring of general contractor and start of construction for five skilled nursing care facilities, to include all associated units in the facility such as emergency rooms, mechanical rooms, restaurant/kitchen, lobby, etc.: one in Scottsdale, Arizona; one in Sun City West, Arizona; one at Ahwatukee outside of Phoenix, Arizona; one in Tucson, Arizona; and one in Oro Valley, Arizona- outside of Tucson.
  • Owners Representative hired to complete the feasibility studies, entitlement work, plans, hiring of general contractor and manage the completion of the construction of two new 33,000 sq. ft. Assisted Living Facilities, to include all associated units in the facility such as mechanical rooms, restaurant/kitchen, lobby, etc.: one in Somerset, Kentucky, and one in Princeton, West Virginia.
  • Feasibility studies performed for three Medical Office Buildings: one in Watsonville, California; one outside of Birmingham, Alabama; and one in Greenville, Alabama.
